Join Us for a Music Together® Class
Fun. Fabulous. Uplifting. Magical. These are just a few of the ways that parents describe Music Together. Each week, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, big kids (and the grownups who love them®) gather in indoor, outdoor, and online classrooms all over the world to make music as a community. Offered at more than 3,000 locations and 40 countries, our early childhood music classes give families with children from birth through age 5 the chance to get in touch with their inner musician and connect with other families.
We’re on a mission to make the world a better place by making it more musical®. And you can be part of it by joining one of our music classes in your neighborhood!

Let's have some fun!
Playful, rich, and engaging, Music Together helps children of all ages—babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids—discover their inner music-maker by playing with the grownups they love.

If you’re a parent who values music, or you see how much your little one loves music, you’re probably asking yourself- when should I start my child on music lessons?
We know how pressured you can feel to give your kiddo the best musical start possible.

In general, before age 5, you should give your child as much informal music instruction as possible, like:
-
Playing music you love around the house and in the car.
-
Making sure your child sees as much LIVE music-making as possible.
-
Dance parties!
-
Singing to and with your child.
-
An evidence-based music class designed by Early Childhood Music Education experts, such as Music Together®
If you can give your child informal music instruction before the age of 5, the chances are much higher that they will develop basic pitch and rhythm by the time they are ready for formal instruction (how to play an instrument, how to read notes, how to play a song on an instrument).
When Do Classes Meet?
Classes meet weekly. You'll choose a "home" class (your regular one), and then, you can attend as many other classes as you'd like as long as there is room in the class (there is a student portal where you can sign up for additional classes).
Music Together is not a drop-in program- rather, classes working with a collection of songs in-depth over 8-12 weeks.
Music Together is a curriculum that supports the child's development over time. It's like immersion in a foreign language: a bit of exposure here and there is not going to lead to fluency! There is just not as much opportunity for immersion, depth and advancement of the developing skills over time to really learn a language in a drop-in format.

This format ensures that developing skills are reinforced in the weekly group experiences and develop steadily and progressively.
