Membership Agreement

The monthly charge to your card will be charged on the first day of each month September through May. The initial charge will be 2 months. This covers your first month and your last month.

If you join in the middle of a month, you will be charged a pro-rated fee for the first partial month PLUS two full months. So $partial month + $first 2 months.

Classes included in membership:
When you enroll, you will choose a “home” class that will be your usual weekly class. You may also attend any other class offered if there is room.
Please use the student portal to register for non-”home” classes so that we can ensure 1) that there are no more than 14 students in any class and 2) that the instructor knows to expect you.

If you have attended classes in the past, you know that we used to offer makeup classes if you had to miss due to illness, etc. Because the monthly class includes attendance at as many classes as you’d like (if there is room), we will no longer keep track of makeup classes.

Materials:
Music Together materials (songbooks, CDs, and music access codes) will be distributed in September, January, and late March/early April (week after spring break) for the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.
If you join in the middle of a session, you will receive materials if there are at least 4 weeks remaining in the session.

Schedule:
Classes will start after Labor Day in September and will end the day before Memorial Day. There will be 4 weeks during the year that classes do not meet- the week of Thanksgiving, the two weeks that schools are generally out over the End Of Year holidays, and spring break (all determined by Little Rock School District schedule).
For the 2025-2026 year, those dates are:
Start: Sept 2 (after Labor Day weekend)
Stop: May 22, 2026 (before Memorial Day weekend)
Breaks: Nov 24-28, Dec 22-Jan 2, March 23-27

Inclement Weather:
If LRSD OR the local school district where the class is held is closed due to inclement weather, the Music Together class will be cancelled.
In the past, we used to extend the session to makeup for canceled classes. However, in the monthly model we won’t be able to do that, so a makeup class will not be offered for classes canceled due to inclement weather. Rather, we invite you to come to another class.
We will consider offering extra classes if there is not enough room in other classes to accommodate everyone.

Canceling Membership:
If you would like to stop your membership for any reason, please contact Crystal Graves at hillcrestfamilymusic@gmail.com. Remember that you have already paid for your last month!
In order to avoid a charge on your last month, please give us ***35 DAYS NOTICE*** to cancel the charge to your card.
We are unable to refund tuition fees after the start of classes. Families are responsible for class attendance. An administrative fee of $25 will be deducted upon cancellations occurring prior to the start of the semester.

Pausing Membership:
If you are a member in good standing (no outstanding balances) AND you have paid for at least two consecutive months, you may skip up to two months for any reason.
Again, please let us know at least 5 days BEFORE the 1st of the month so we can cancel the charge to your card.

Summer:
Your card will not be charged the monthly fee in June, July, or August. If you decide to enroll for Summer classes, that will be paid for separately.
